Arai Quantum-X Wave Helmet - 2023

Arai Quantum-X helmet is purpose-built for the street. A new benchmark in comfort, quiet, stability and ventilation. Arai applied the same tireless 24-7 focus devoted to race helmets to designing it, refining and adapting proven concepts to a new purpose. On the rounder end of the head shape spectrum, the Quantum series has always been the "go-to" helmet of choice. The Quantum-X brings that shape back in a feature rich package.

Round Oval Shape: designed for the rider whose head is slightly wider than elongated

Comfort:

    
FCS cheek pads (Facial Contour System): multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a "spring" foam, giving extra comfort to the lower jaw and cheeks
    
ES chin curtain: accentuates the egg-shaped form of the shell, blocking turbulent air from entering the underside (working with pull-down spoiler)
    
Interior lining: odor resistant, antimicrobial, soft and fully removable
    
Peel-Off layer of 5 mm: removable inner layer for a custom fit, giving more comfort
    
Adjustable head liner: different height levels for a custom fit

Ventilation:

    
Chin vent shutter: closable gate in front of the center vent to block out colder wind. Can be opened in warmer weather
    
QVF Series Top Vents: 3-way front intake duct for optimal cooling and aerodynamics
    
Other air intakes: brow vents
    
QVR Series Top Vents: 3-way rear exhaust duct with a sliding lever for a smoother ride
    
Cowl exhaust vent: sculpted directly into the rear shell shape for optimal aerodynamic characteristics

Shield:

    
VAS shield mechanism (Variable Axis System): moving pilot point allowing for a lower shield mount position
    
Dual-function lever: removable cover plate and shield pin for a quick-release shield
    
Improved VAS shield de-mist latch: captures and securely holds the shield closed to help resist unexpected opening
    
VAS Max Vision shield: large-visibility visor with two highly efficient brow vents
    
Pinlock lens insert (included!): clear anti-fog lens absorbing moisture, perfect for colder seasons
